This client requested that I fix their front door that had been weathered by the sun. The door faces due west and gets all the evening sunshine. The previous contractor used the wrong type of varnish on the door (interior varnish) which did not stand up to the elements well. I stripped the door, sanded and re-stained it…..and finished it with two coats of the proper type (edterior rated) varnish. You can see the before and after pics below….a definate improvement.
