For this project, the client requested that I remodel the master closet by removing the minimal shelving that was present and adding custom built-ins. I tried to maximize the usable space by utilizing more height in the built in fixtures. The homeowner had a dresser she wanted to utilize as part of the design, so I added a space for it as well. The new fixtures, at the very least, double the usable hanging and folded clothing in this space.
Following the closet remodel, I also framed out the living room and dining room windows to appear as one cohesive unit. This really added some drama to space, the homeowner was thrilled with the new craftsman style moldings. You can see the before and after pics below, click any image to enlarge.
